Commercial deals - January transfers
Is it realistic to think that come December, if we are still doing well and the OS move less than two years away, the two Dave's will be announcing any commercial deals that could add money to the coffers for transfer buys in January to help us make a real push for a European slot?

Will the likes on the Song deal and our definite change of style attract a few more quality signings?

Will we need to make a signing or two with the potential loss of players to the African Nations finals (if it still goes ahead)?

I think were getting way too optimistic, we maybe 4th and in a Champions League spot, but lets not forget we are also only 6 points clear of a relegation spot, and have only played 8 games, still very early days, although I do feel optimistic, just keep remembering who we are and what normally happens when we get optimistic………..

We'll have the £3 million we get for AC.

I can't see us buying anyone in January apart from maybe a goalkeeper. They won't spend money for the sake of it, might as well wait for the summer.

If people have raised their hopes to a possible top 6 place in Jan, then this place is going to go into fucking meltdown come December.

Which will be service resumed.

January is never a great time to buy players, unless you really have no choice. The most we need is another quality centre back. Other than that, I'd wait until the Summer.

Alright lads, lets get some perspective here. If we are top 6 come Jan, it will be a miracle.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get some serious investment sooner rather than later.

There must be various interested parties out there and surely one will break first..... fearful of missing out now that the mighty hammers have awoken!

Bidding war will ensue and massive investment will follow.

Okay, might be getting carried away, but I can see something happening.
